This is a mall that I would definitely bring my kid to as it’s a whole entertainment centre in one-
It’s a 9 stories mall with a supermarket, shops selling apparels, shoes, bags, sporting goods, restaurants, spas, IT products & even a movie theatre.
I wanted to try this but was too full, lol~
Adorable ain’t it?There’s clothing for the entire family!
We got a set of the batman duck for Oliver & Dad. 🙂
I bought that reindeer tote bag on the left for only SG$12! All these are locally designed~
More bags…I got the camel brown leather sling bag pictured in the middle. Not very cheap, about SG$28? After discount, but since it’s locally made, I think it’s decent la~
Got like, 3 pairs of shoes here, very simple designs and comfortable! Most importantly, super affordable. Only around SG$20 per pair.I wanted to get the bubble wrap bag for O as it’s waterproof and suitable for his swimming lessons, but K said they looked “okay only”, so we didn’t get it in the end. Even the washrooms are so stylish, very clean~ So many restaurants you won’t have any difficulty finding one to settle in and have a meal!We lunched here as I’m attracted by the crab, lol~There’s only one staff who spoke some English here, but overall, the communication was smooth enough we got our food, lol~ Ordered some greens with salted fish & crab with shrimp paste~
This entire meal cost us only about SG$27 if my memory served me right~ Not a must-try but you wouldn’t get these kind of prices in Singapore~There’s decorations around the mall based on well-known cities, this is supposedly inspired from Rome~ Keke… I’m more interested in the food…
The branch that I was telling you about! C.O.D.E. also has one here in Terminal 21.Thank God we didn’t go out of our way to Mr Jones Orphanage cafe cos there’s one right here!
Quirky interior! We got the KitKat Sundae. The taste was meh~ Hahaha~ Imho, waste of calories~Love this mall though~ I can totally foresee myself bringing O here so we can eat, play the arcade games and then all of us relax with a movie in the evening before wrapping up with a delicious affordable meal and dessert in the end.
But since we’re not with the kid this time, we were able to venture further to this restaurant my friend highly recommended.
Gedhawa restaurant’s nearest station is Phrom Phong, located at 24 Sukhumvit 35 Rd. Wattana, it’s quite a narrow walk down the alley (and somewhat scary in the dark with the cars zooming by), but if you fancy authentic Thai food, this is where you should go.
Nam Phrik Ong (fried pork and raw vegetables with pork/tomato dipping sauce) and fried chicken stuffed with vermicelli. Very affordable and delicious!
We had some time to spare after dinner, so we headed to Asiatique. You can take a free ferry boat from Saphan Taksin station to the Riverfront. It’s about 15 mins ride.
Cos of the time and rain, there’s not many people around. Maybe cos we already had our shopping fill in Terminal 21, nothing really caught our eye here. The Ferris wheel is dazzling though~
Next post, fancy being Alice in Wonderland/Bangkok? :p
