En route Ueno, we passed by this mini mart selling alot of pre-packed curry!
I bought this Okinawa curry to try.
And here we are at Ameyoko street! My friend recommended this place, saying it’s good for shopping sports shoes, candies, and affordable dons (rice set).
To be really honest, I didn’t quite enjoy this place. Maybe cos we just came from the bustling Tsukiji, or cos I’m not a sports person (though my husband is). We just bought some snacks and left.
On to Tokyo station! This is Character street, where it houses many popular Japan cartoon characters…
K spent alot of time at the Naruto shop…
While I was busy filling up my shopping basket here:
Gudetama! My current fav Japanese character! They have assorted biscuits & confectionery~
T-shirts, stationery & socks…
I spent like over a hundred dollars stocking up on Gudetama snacks, lanyard, i-phone case, t-shirt, towel etc~
Almost got a rilakkuma doll from here as well~
Also a non Japanese cartoon character~
After a long day, this was our dinner at some random restaurant in the Tokyo station mall. The first thing I noted was, the rice were so sparkly and distinct they looked like those plastic food replicas, lol~ It’s quite decent, but rather pricey at $20 over dollars each.
Next post here!
