In the past, if I wake up extra early, I’ll crave for McDonald’s hotcakes. It has got to do with positive associations with the food when young.
But now that I’ve grown up and started getting picky about food, I realized hotcakes isn’t a very well-balanced meal. It’s mostly starch. And sugar. So I tried making my own version of “hotcakes”, using whole wheat flour & pairing it with fruits or sometimes if I woke really late, I’ll turn it into a more substantial meal with meat & vegetable for brunch, like this:
This is the teddy version for O.
The adults have something a little more traditional.
